Hi! My friend let me hook into her internet to catch up my blog- it will be a while until our connection at home is set up. I feel like I could write a small novel about our experiences so far, but I'll keep this post short and sweet.
Our plane ride over was great! The company flew us business class which was quite a treat for all of us. We were served a great dinner and then the seats turned into beds and we all slept quite well. Luke even had his own little bassinet. It took us a while to adjust to the time change, but even Luke is sleeping through the night now! Happy day!
My biggest adjustment so far has been driving on the other side of the road. I'm happy to report that I can get myself to and from the train station and the local grocery store. I'm getting more and more comfortable every day. One day I may venture past the town we live in.
The cute little nieghbor kids knock on our door every morning at 9am and ask me if the american kids can come and play. Our kids have had a great time riding bikes with the neighbors.
The other day Benjamin asked us if we're still on Earth. It was the cutest question because everything is so new for all of us. It was a good opportunity for us to get the map out again and show him where that long plane ride took us to-- yes, in fact--we're still on earth!
