Sara managed to remain fairly calm through a haircut. That is until the hairdresser turned on the blow dryer. Nothing a sucker and a balloon won't fix.

Our first Valentines day back in the USA was exciting. We addressed valentines to class mates and attached treats. However, we learned that Valentines is much bigger than that...
I sent Michael to school with an empty Cheerios box to collect Valentines. He later told me that he spent his free time in class decorating his box after he saw the boxes the other kids brought. Ooops! We are obviously new here.
Benjamin spent much of February draining his cast during homework time. We liked having a waterproof cast so he could shower normally, but then he had to carry a towel around with him while it drained.
My dad and Todd installed a mud room. Here they are hard at work:
The finished product. Our mud room has been a dream come true. I love having a spot for coats, backpacks, gloves, hats, goggles, etc...
More snow play time in February. We developed a system for Benjamin's cast in the snow...one of dad's socks to keep his toes warm and a plastic bag with an elastic to keep it dry.
