Our trip to Paris

My sister and brother-in-law and their sweet baby came to visit and we went to Paris with them for a couple of days. We each brought our youngest babies and left the older kids at home. We had great weather in Paris. We ate delicious bagettes and crepes and had a wonderful time together.


Everytime we took Luke into a bakery, they would give him these little pastries. He loved it! Who could resist this cute face?

Weekend in Paris

Here are some of my favorite pictures that we took in Paris this weekend:

London sunshine

We've had beautiful weather in London lately. The kids have had a great time riding their new bikes, playing in the sand, and riding in the wagon. It has given me more time to study for the driving test :)

Les Miserables in London

We went downtown to see Les Miserables on Friday night. It was fantastic! The music is incredible, the theatre and stage are amazing. We had a great time.

Saturday night we went to a work party downtown as well. It was great to have two dates in one weekend! Now if we could just get the baby to sleep past 6:30am after we get home late, we'd be golden!

Birthday party

Spring is birthday season for the Stepan boys, so this year we decided to do 1 friend party for all 3 boys. It was great! A dear friend and her husband helped with the games. We rented a village hall so we had plenty of room for all 16 kids to run around and play.

They don't open gifts at birthday parties here, which was a little strange for me at first, but now I'm totally convinced that's the best way to do it. After the party we came home and took our time opening presents. It was like Christmas day in May!

Then we spent the rest of the afternoon playing with new games, toys and building Lego's. What a great day!

Marlow

We went to Marlow yesterday--one of my favorite places to visit on the river Thames. There's a lock there that we love to watch. It was a beautiful spring day. Have I ever mentioned that I love it here in England?!
