Nana's bath and haircut

We took Nana for her long overdue bath and haircut.

The bows on her ears were too cute! She kept them on just long enough for the kids to see when they got home from school and then she was done with the bows!

Senior pictures

A friend from our ward took Ben's senior pictures this week in Herriman.

It makes me teary to think of this boy graduating.

Where did the last 18 years go?!

Here are some of my favorite pictures;

This week we are studying the book of Joshua when the Israelites used stones as a reminder of the miracle of the Jordan River parting. We wrote our own blessings on stones and lined them up so we can remember the amazing things the Lord continues to do for us. The Lord is good to us for which we are forever grateful.

Luke's teeth and fall

Luke's orthodontist repositioned some brackets and filled in his small teeth.

His teeth are looking so nice! These braces are worth it!

Right after his orthodontist appointment, Luke hurried off to mountain biking for a time trial test. He was positioned to place in the 2's or 3's and then he took a nasty fall that banged up his leg, shoulder and side.

Luckily he is ok!

Wrapping it up

Some things are just beginning like shopping for mission apparel.

While other things, like high school, are quickly coming to an end.

The stud gov room is being relocated for next school year, so Ben signed a brick and his cubby before the room was closed.

Ben has spent so much time in the stud gov room over his high school experience. It was sad to say goodbye.

Ben has been busy with Senior week, so he takes quick naps whenever he can.

Senior dinner dance was a success. All of Ben's hard work paid off.

Ben hung his sweater in the closing assembly. It was a very emotional time.

We are going to miss our Ben like crazy! Brothers are the best!

I am so emotional every time I think about Ben's graduation. I am so excited for what lies ahead but Ben will be missed at home, school and church. He is an amazing leader and friend. He will be an amazing missionary and Spain is lucky to get him.
